Teacher Certification and CEUs
Republic of Letters: Great Tradition is a unique continuing education opportunity with Kepler Education. This liberal arts, great books based approach to certification offers readings and live discussions of history, literature, math, philosophy, religion, science, and classical pedagogy for a rich broad engagement with the Great tradition of humane learning. There are three tracks available:
Through Kepler's certification program, educators will study with Dr. Robert M. Woods to “think Christianly” about how classical Christ-centered education looks in the modern world.

There are three tracks available: The Scholars Track is a Certification in Classical Christian Education with Transferable Graduate Certificate Hours
The Fellows Track is a Certification in Classical Christian Education
The Foundation Track offers participation in select micro-courses and preceptorials

This liberal arts, great books based approach to certification offers readings and live discussions of history, literature, math, philosophy, religion, science, and classical pedagogy for a rich broad engagement with the Great tradition of humane learning. The Scholars Track is a Certification in Classical Christian Education with Transferable Graduate Certificate Hours Requirements and responsibilities: Receive a syllabus for the course and adhere to all of the assignments. This includes short writing assignments, readings, and discussion in all live sessions. Required attendance and participation in four preceptorials (one offered every quarter) and eight micro-courses (ten offered a year). You have two years to complete this course of study and may choose the sessions you attend. While many readings are provided, you will need to purchase some reading materials. Benefits:
You will have access to free materials provided in live courses.
You will have access to all recordings of all live sessions.
You will have access to the Republic of Letters course shell and access to all free materials within the course.
You will receive three hours toward the Graduate Certificate in Classical Education with Faulkner University, if you pursue the Graduate Certificate.
Upon completion you will receive a Kepler Certificate of Completion in The Republic of Letters: Scholars Track with up to 6 CEU (60 CE hours) of credit from Kepler.
One time program cost: One time registration fee of $480
The Fellows Track is a Certification in Classical Christian Education Requirements and responsibilities: Required attendance and participation in four preceptorials (one offered every quarter) and eight micro-courses (ten offered a year). with up to 3 CEU (30 CE hours) of credit from Kepler. Responsibilities: Attend and participate in live sessions of your choice (any two preceptorials and any four micro-courses)

PRECEPTORIALS 2026-2027
Preceptorials emphasize independent reading, discussion in small groups, and individual conferences with the teacher or professor as requested. Each preceptorial will consist of an online sessions for 1.5 hours. The reading(s) must be done in advance. Select mini-lectures will also be shared in advance of the live sessions and an online quiz will also be given as part of the final assessment. Three hours of CEU or PD hours will be granted at the completion of each quiz.

MICRO-COURSES
Micro-course consists of one live, online session for 1.5 hours. The short reading(s) must be completed in advance of the live session. No quiz is given as part of the final assessment. CEUs toward Teacher Certification will only be granted in conjunction with preceptorials. Available upon request.
